RV Boondocking?... Writing?... or Motorcycle Touring? What'n Hell is Goin' On Around Here?

The More Things Change the More they stay the same...

Ok... so... Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn't... but quite some lil' bit has changed around here, over the past three years.

I mean... it all started out to just get going RV Boondocking... right?... and RV Boondocking is still a big part of the dream... but a few things have been added in.

First, my writing which was originally started with an eye toward contributing a bit to our wandering... continues to grow, and I find it's taking me down trails that I'd never even ever conceived of! Fact is... it's taking on a life of its' own... a lil' bit of a "Dream" is taking shape there... all by itself...

That Dream is the part that has the majority of a persons life being one spent in Art and Creativity... pursuit of that idea you've all heard before; "I can't believe they pay me to do this!" :o)

Then, there's the restoration of my Motorcycle Habit... after a two wheeler drought of a mite over ten years... I restored a big two wheeler to the world I live in... and Oh Lordy... this time... something is different. For some reason... what hadn't happened before... CLICKED... this time... Big Time!

Motorcycle Passion!... to the point that if it's 10 degrees... I ride... if it's raining like that lil' storm Ol' Noah weathered... I'm astraddle my bike...

... and on more than one occasion... if the rain is comin' down in the form of lil' white flakes.. uh huh! I'm splittin' the wind through the less than shiny weather...

What's my point?

Having a Dream is a requirement... Leastway's I think so... of having a hope of finding a bit of  Shining Times in your life...

The trouble is, when life gets in the way of Dreams... and finding your trail, takes a lot longer than you'd planned on... to get goin' RV Boondocking or any other Dream ya'll might be chasin'... things can happen in all that time, and your Dream can change along with it...

So, why is that a "Trouble"?... well it shouldn't be! But some folks will think that considering all the time and effort they put in to building their "Castle in the Sky", they Have To... stick to it... just as it was planned... It's a conditioning that we all tend to be afflicted with...

Only... Uh Uh... it ain't so! It don't have to be that way!

Look, don't just flip flop with the wind or you'll never get anywhere... but... when what tickles your fancy changes over time... let it! Don't get TOO hung up on your road map... or you'll miss it...

What It?

The "It" that happens, when a lil' trail appears that really grabs your imagination, and that you'd had no idea "It" even existed... when you set out...kind of like my writing "It"...

Go ahead... turn off the Planned trail... and take advantage of those unexpected opportunities!

For me... the RV Boondocking is now the way to provide me with low cost housing... that allows me to Put my Knees in the Wind... on my Motorcycle ... in between the hours I'll spend, sitting with my laptop... doing my, ee-lek-trawnic whittling, of the words for another Story!
