Fat Cow or Poor Bull... We're Still Goin' South

Was trying to get on line last night to build a new post and ran into some ee-lek-trawnic difficulties.

I'd made something over ten gigabytes of space in the hard drive; culling and editing picture files ( a task I should have started a long dang time ago)...

Then... I booted up the laptop after we moved down to Northglenn...

*Getting loaded at the farm to start our Fall Migration*

... to make our Fall; "Goodbye lil Darlin's! See ya in the spring... or at Christmas if we just can't keep away!" with the kids and Grandkids...

... and all but 7mb of that 10+ gigs was GONE!... WHAT THE HELLACIOUS Stuff shovelin' frog burpin' jockey knottin' shenanigans is this?!!

'bout all I can guess is something evil lurkin' 'bout has slipped past my virus/malware guards and is cookin' up a mess inside that old machine... It won't let me online or do much of anything... as soon as I swamp out a hole... it fills it back in! arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

BUT! That bein' the Poor Bull part of it... the Fat Cow is that I got this lil' Acer 10" I bought for my Motorcycle tours; that though I'm not real fond of it... It's here and it works! It takes me to all the places I need to go and lets me do my work... even if my puny mitts are scrunched together on its itty bitty keyboard like a big gigglin' lady, carryin' a purse the size of a duffel bag and seven shopping bags... shovin' herself onto a crowded bus...gettin' goosed by all the hands that ain't got no room to scramble out of the way...

So... though my guts try to tie 'emselves up over the other outfit bein' jammed up... there just ain't no sense in it. I've got a way to keep on workin'... I've got a camera with a busted battery box and a scratched lens to keep on illustratin' the yarns I spin...

... and over the next few weeks of our migration to winter camp... we've got southern Colorado, Northern New Mexico, Chaco Canyon, Goosenecks, Grand Canyon North Rim, Zion... and likely a few other spots to find...

I ain't got no money... and I ain't got the tools I used to or want...but I've got my Freedom and the glorious west to be poor in! :) HooYa! and Let 'er Buck!!

The plan is to pull out early afternoon today and night camp at Trinidad.

But you know how dangerous it is for me to make Plans...

Just so YOU know it Murphy... that 18" chunk of solid Hickory that left them cowboy contusions on your noggin the last time you gave me a wedgie; is still layin' in the door pocket juuuuuust waitin' on your flea infested Irish keister to come lurkin' about... I'm warmin' up the runnin' iron and the ear notchin' knife is honed up shiny an' sharp! :)) You want a rematch Ol' son... Bring it! :) haw haw haw!!!

See ya in the sunny south!

Like Judy said- Murphy has kicked a lot of butt and shows no signs of slowing down, so be Very careful with making those challenges.
