Rolling thru Evanston, Wyoming. Came up Utah 43 & Wyoming 414 past the Green River rendezvous area. Pretty, pretty country... Super Dump station at the Wyoming Visitor center on the east side of Evanston...
Hoping for Bear Lake tonight... though the Bear River just east of here is bank full and ugly looking...
Several campgrounds on the Bridger-Teton National forest are closed due to flooding rivers... Hoping "things" settle down a lil' bit.... Soon!
Rollin' North

a rare evening update. 8:04 P.M.
Suppers been ate... and an Alaskan "Winter" brew opened up...
parked alongside a N.F. road, for a night camp, north of Montpelier, Idaho
Would have been camped at 4pm... but that camp, 3 miles north of Montpelier, turned out to be a swamp, with enough low hanging trees, that I lost my cellular antennae to one of 'em... So... I kept moving... until I found this wide spot... a few miles up a narrowing NF road... and decided... THIS... was far enoug... arrrrgggghhh...
You know... there's flood warnings and watches all over Idaho and Montana... in case no one knew... likely to be a remembered summer... and one, many would like to forget. Most of the Headwaters of the Missouri are at record levels... and guess what? .... uh huh... it's raining on us now. :) sheesh... the fun never ends...
... at least that tree didn't punch a whole on the roof... just ripped the antennae off the ladder...
So... add one more thing to the shopping list... it's always something, ain't it?
gonna finish off this "Alaskan"... and go to bed... :) ... and dream of a dry skies, and antennae's on sale :)

Hey Brian, Sorry to hear about your antenna. Check out this link for a new one at $40, http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wilson-Electronics-301101-Truck-Mirror-Mount-High-Gain-Cellular-Antenna/14294239.
Barry and Linda. Thanks! been looking for a few minutes for a retailer in western montana/idaho and had not found one... Guess I need to see if I can get Wal Mart to order me one... That's actually another version of the one that just got De-mounted :) Thanks again for the 'Trail Marker' :)
Maybe you went north just a bit too soon.
hell of a deal when June... is too soon... Arizona is on Fire... Idaho and Montana... near under water... not the shiniest start to a summer!
Hey, we found summer. You need to make a right turn.
We left Quartzite AZ 5/4 meandered to Albuquerque over 3 weeks, then on to a week in Salida CO with a day trip up to 10,200' in Leadville for a years supply of life altering drugs on 6/1, where she who I love and must obey says, "I'm not spending another summer in Salida, we're going to PA to visit the kids and grandkids...". which we haven't seen since mid 2007.
So June 2nd we turned east on US50 out of Salida and about an hour later we ran straight into summer. Temps in the high 90s and eventually humidity about as high. Currently in the middle of IN and you'd swear it was Aug.. and everything is green, the cows are fat and the horses shine.
Haven't seen any rain in about 3 months.

Brian, as long as you are wet, take a left on 36 down to Mink Creek...Maple Grove Hot Springs..may as well be warm/hot and wet. They have R.V. spots, not too spendy. They use solar power and are very green. They were very nice 2-3yrs ago.
