Rousted Out Of Walmart

Las Lunas New Mexico has chosen to sign up for the RVers city black list.

It's been a good long while since the last time we were told to move on. Fact is I don't remember when....but the folks in Las Lunas New Mexico don't want the business of RVers.

So much so in fact, that we were told;."You can park for 30 minutes, and then you'll be towed!"

It takes longer than that just to do the grocery shopping.

So unfriendly Las Lunas New Mexico... No hundred dollar bill at Walmart. No twenty dollar bill at the Panda restaurant. No hundred dollar fuel fill. No tires at discount tires... No business ANYWHERE in your arrogant sewer. NO SALES TAX INCOME from me of ANY kind.

RVers, I'd suggest you pass on by Las Lunas New Mexico. Your money is tainted and unwanted there... and I've NEVER been threatened with towing before, if I tarry too long.

Sorry to hear that, I will make sure to not stop by that Walmart. How rude only 30 minutes.

Whoa! Thirty minutes? What idiots. They are now on my do not stop there list. I think you need to pass this on to the powers that be in the city government there.

Hey Brian,
Did you send this to Nick Russell, so he can BROADCAST IT in the Gypsy Journal?? He has a list of UNFRIENDLY TOWNS on his side-bar..
THE WAGONTEAMSTER, Bob Skelding got kicked out of LITTLEFIED, TEXAS CITY PARK and we got the city hall, newspaper, CoC, mayor, police, sheriff all BLOCKED BY EMAILS & CALLS.. You have to tell'em like you did, NOBODY WILL BUY ANYTHING IN THEIR TOWN... That's what grabs'em $$$$$$$....

Keep headin' for the sunshine...

Obviously these people are clueless on numerous fronts, not the least of which is the power of the internet. Send this to Nick Russell.
Wasn't there something about Billings, Montana a few years ago regarding RV parking ANYWHERE in town? Seems to me they changed their tune. Same goes for the province of Nova Scotia. Some folks need a smack up the side of the head to help them wake up. And they wonder why business is slow? Dummies.

Ok...they are on my "blackwater" list. I think a rash of letters to city hall is in order too...if we gang up on them maybe they will relax their stupid and unfriendly policy.

Is this a city ordinance? if so I will write to them and tell them I will never do business in their town. It would probably do good to write to the chamber of commerce also.

Dawn and Kenny; We asked a clerk inside who initially said; "Oh sure out by the Garden area (Which is where we always parked) but then said; "Uhhh... let me check with management."

When he came back we got the "It's a new change. They said you can park for thirty minutes and then you'll be towed".

It is a very recent change I believe. I would guess whoever you spoke to on the phone only asked another un-informed employee.

I assume it's a town ordinance as it has always been Walmart's business policy to welcome RVers.
