Even built the Cover for "A Pair of Second Chances" yesterday... at least, it's built, as long as I'm still likin' it a few days from now...

Now, once that's done... a whole lot of tedious editing and rewriting, I have to make myself push through... to make it as good as I can... and then #2 will be on the shelf...
Had to run up the road a ways to make this post, and pay a bill or two... the cell signal, the past few days in camp has pretty much gone away, amplifier or not... So I'm sittin' in the truck atop 4020' Loup Loup Pass... tappin' the buttons... where there IS enough signal to get out...
So... my chores and an aggravating financial pot hole has slowed down our march to the sea... we'd only planned on a day or two... been here I think 6+?
yeah well... Life in the West, huh?
I'm thinkin' we're gonna defy accepted wisdom, and roll tomorrow. Yeah I know... travel mid week, and lay up on the week ENDS! ... What can I say, I've spent a lifetime, runnin' against the wind.
So... I better get on back to camp... and button up that epilogue...
Still Breathin'... and Whittlin' Words

Yea, love the cover, but tilt that coffee cup a little towards the camera so we can read it. Other than that, it's looking good.
I disagree with Doc. I think the cup position is perfect unless there is something written on the cup that pertains to the story. As it is I, the viewer/reader, can let my imagination fill in what the cup might say.
I like the cover!
Thanks both. as for the "Cup"... I have only two coffee cups on the rig... Both... have copyrighted "stuff" on 'em... now I don't know why either outfit would be upset with their "product" getting "advertised"... but... Murphy, being who HE is, likely wouldn't be able to resist, jacking me around with "Cease and Desist" paperwork :) so, I opted to turn the thing, juuuust enough to save me the "difficulty" :)
So...this will go in the fiction section right?
Jeff and Lori; Yep. Fiction it is... I "think" the Action/Suspense? variation... I get confused any more... there's so many to choose from... One difference in this story is... they're... uh... sometimes, not quite so polite in their "language" ... but what can I say, an cold blooded Killer sort, sayin' "Oh, please do as I ask kind sir!" would not be real credible, would It? :) and in the Real world... an old cowboy, with a purple rage on, is REALLY gonna turn the air blue, on occasion... so, this isn't a tale to read the kids in bed at night... but, I... Think, it's a good story ;)
