Another 4th of July... Wait... Let Me Go Look... Yup... The Flag is Still There...

Gonna be moving today... Have to get a fresh camp set in a good spot while I make the ride over to the Black Hills...

Some might not consider today to be the best one for rolling... but... we've got to move 'cause we've overstayed our time here a couple days :) ... and time is a little tight to get set before I leave for the Dakotas...

So... while I roll today... some things are likely gonna be floating through my head... Robin Says most of it, with pretty good Humor... and quite a while ago...

As always... enjoy this day... but... Remember... Always Remember... just WHO it was, that brought it to you...

Rolling in Freedom on the 4th of July

Brian, plesde look up www.lifescript.com to learn proper respect for the flag.
I spent 2 years getting rid of Hitler and I don't want to see another one come along!!
The Army taught me proper respect for the flag, and------even young boys learn that in the Boy
Scouts of America!! ===Fred===

Howdy! Just getting caught up on the posts, sorry for the delay in posting. I find NOTHING disrespectful in this video. All the more so since whis was in '82 - the year I hit the 10 year mark in the USN. As a disabled vet and Navy retiree, I applaud talking up and flying that Grand Old Flag. Steven fm Monument

yes. Steven I agree. I think, some feel the shirt is disrespectful. Only thing is, it is NOT made from a flag... Which would be wrong.

It only uses symbolic elements of a flag, to carry across an emotion. Combined with his words, I think it shows a reverence for the "Thing" the Flag itself is only symbolic of... and THAT is the "Thing" which must be defended most Strenuously.

That "Thing" is the sacrifice of Men like Fred, and yourself Steven.

Being a two hitch, disabled army vet myself, I also have no issues here... I understand and accept the passion some have on this issue though...
