That pic, is off a bit... the camera made it a lil' bright, trying to peer back into the dark of the tunnel... it's actually the color of the Mine shown above it to the left... it's a close up of that... sorry!

Michael; You're very welcome! :) Yeah, I actually hadn't noticed the similarity of the writing... Assuming it is a "real" memorial...I suppose that whoever placed it did it at the same time after the second fella passed...

Gail,Chuck and Ayn; Thanks! I've been pretty happy with "Things" the past few days... helps to know some others think so too! :o)Briannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-31169411255733872042011-02-11T08:39:46.448-07:002011-02-11T08:39:46.448-07:00Great new look to the blog, Brian.

Were they as bright as they seemed? Again, just beautiful pictures. Keep them coming.Sharlottenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-24272963439507628542011-02-11T06:51:48.606-07:002011-02-11T06:51:48.606-07:00Wow great pictures, thanks for sharing!Wow great pictures, thanks for sharing!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10847374291463870500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-57045955456455774192011-02-10T16:11:51.094-07:002011-02-10T16:11:51.094-07:00Brian,
Thanks for the peek into the desert on thi...Brian,

Thanks for the peek into the desert on this snow-bound day in Oklahoma.

You came across some interesting landscapes and artifacts.

The two apparent "grave" markers for humans seem odd to me. They look like they were written by the same "hand"writing and same ink/paint (seem to be written at the same time) yet aren't the dates of death far apart? Also, the alliteration in both names while certainly possible, smacks of being invented. My guess? Some bored people setting up a hoax site for others to discover. But, of course, I don't pretend to know. Maybe I'm too cynical.

(Oh, and I'm sure this has been observed by many over the decades, but don't those big cactuses look like they're giving the finger to somebody or something?)

Keep rollin' good man, and one of these months or years I hope to break free and follow in your footsteps to freedom.

MichaelAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
