Power company supplies a box with meter and a circuit breaker or two. Well still requires a state engineer permit. Septic is a PIA as it requires a difficult to obtain state DEQ permit followed by a county permit and inspection.

We paid our Son-Inlaw's company to replace the septic when we sold the house. Best money I've spent in a long time as I would have been spending many years in prison if I had to deal with the DEQ ...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16939369224811944710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-1345964321819391162015-03-22T15:39:04.345-06:002015-03-22T15:39:04.345-06:00I LOVED that Johnny Cash song!!!

Well, in fact, the State of Kansas does and I would bet every other state does too.

But what you can do in Kansas is find a small incorporated town that has its own building codes. The one we lived in was a $15.00 permit. Stay off the side and back property lines 3' and the front property line 20'. Then, you can build whatever you think your big enough to build. Sure pisses the county off! : >)Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06530748998376076224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-67691350372132441652015-03-20T20:56:38.698-06:002015-03-20T20:56:38.698-06:00The EPA does pay people to look at satellite image...The EPA does pay people to look at satellite images for changes to wetlands and streams...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16939369224811944710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7205527982714514361.post-63598459890619271432015-03-20T09:02:36.526-06:002015-03-20T09:02:36.526-06:00Still hanging on your every word
